Our Golden Pancakes are a magical combination of oats, bananas and turmeric that deliver a deliciously textured amazing breakfast.

Serves 4 | Prep time: 5 minutes | Cooking time: 15 minutes |


•150g gluten free rolled oats
•1 large banana mashed
•2 tsp turmeric
•1 tbsp chia seeds (mixed with 4 tbsp water)  or 1 egg for non-vegan
•1 tsp cinnamon
•1 cup of plant based milk (I used coconut milk)


Place the chia seeds with the water in a bowl, mix well and set aside. Put all the remaining ingredients  in a food processor and blend until smooth. Add the chia seeds and pulse 2 or 3 times to combine. If using egg, just add all ingredients together and mix.

Pour a tsp of coconut oil in a frying pan and pour 1 full tbsp of the pancake batter in the pan. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until the mixture forms small bubbles.

Serve with your favorite toppings.
