Avocados are, for me, an amazingly versatile and useful superfood. Rich in non-saturated fats, fibre, vitamins and mineral such as B-vitamins, vitamin K, vitamin E, vitamin C, potassium and copper. They are sugar free and also give a glow to your skin and hair.
Avocado also have a very low GI because of their low sugar content. Avocado oil is a great source of healthy fats, and animal studies suggest a protective effect against inflammation, heart disease and diabetes. Avocados are very filling and keep you from eating too much before your next meal.
